The Story Behind the Name

Welcome, it's a pleasure to meet you! This is a blog currently geared around my learning in the subject of family relations. Thanks for stopping by!

When I was in middle school, I met a boy named Caden. During our first encounter, he asked me what my name was. After replying with "Alishia," Caden enthusiastically said, "Like Alicia Keys!?" We made it an ongoing joke since that moment. Though I haven't seen Caden in many years, it's a special memory that brings a smile to my face. So when it came time to choose a name for this blog, Alishia's Keys seemed like a perfectly humorous yet significant fit. As I learn and share, my posts become the keys that may help you (and I) to unlock the doors of a deeper understanding.
